Club
Pan-Demonica

The Club Pan-Demonica is a bar/nightclub that caters to Montfort's darker side. It is located in what used to be an abandoned building in a part of town usually avoided by peaceful law-abiding citizens, especially at night. The exact location is known only by the Club's patrons, and advertising is strictly word-of-mouth.

The club consists of several parts. From the street, patrons walk up a flight of stairs to the main door. Once there, they may knock for admittance. Upon entering, they find themselves on a high balcony that runs completely around a large, sunken pit that serves as the main room of the Club. The exact shape of the pit varies from night to night, although most patrons are too drunk to notice the difference. Common configurations are: round, oval, oblong, rectangular, triangular, star-shaped, pentagram, hexagram, and rhomboid. No matter what the shape of the room is, the Club's bar is always positioned exactly opposite the main entrance... and engraved on huge stone tablets above this bar are the 10 rules or 'Commandments' of the Pan-Demonica:

Club closes at Dawn. No Exceptions
No Fighting - Take it outside.
Stay Away from the Golems
No Telepathy
No Spitting

You Steal...You Die.
Don’t Stare At the IMP!
Living Only - Undead, Stay Away!
Curiosity Kills - Mind Your Own Business.
Mages Welcome, But Keep Your Spells to Yourself.

Visitors would do well to memorize and obey those rules at all times, or risk the ire of Leonardo, the Club's greeter and chief of security, and The Imp, the diminutive demon that assists him. (Or does Leonardo assist the Imp?) This unlikely pair greet each patron as he or she enters. Leonardo points out the rules for newcomers, while the Imp magically searches all visitors for weapons. Weapons are allowed inside the Club, but the Pan-Demonica's management likes to keep tabs on who has what... It is impossible to sneak a weapon into the Pan-Demonica without SOMEONE knowing it.

Once inside, the visitor has his or her choice of fine entertainment. One can enjoy the company and conversation (boasts and lies) of fellow patrons... view some live entertainment (when available)...have a few dozen drinks at the bar... stagger through the golem-guarded doors to the casino... wander into the Velvet Palace for the burlesque show... or simply have a seat and glare ominously at the newcomers. (Glaring at the Imp is not advised). One can ALWAYS find an empty table at the PanDemonica, no matter how crowded. Likewise, those wishing to bask in the darkness are always able to locate a suitable dark corner... even when the room is in 'circle' configuration.

Those visitor wishing to conduct 'business' can use any of the private rooms accessible off of the main balcony. Offices are available in various sizes, and many of Montfort's 'import/export' specialists have permanent locations within the Club. Just ask Leonardo for your party and you will be escorted to the correct room. Patrons can conduct any kind of sale or purchase at the Pan-Demonica... from 'liberated' goods to 'high-demand' pharmaceuticals. Bedrooms are also available on a per-hour basis, and a special stairway runs from the Velvet Palace to the bedroom level so that one can enjoy the private company of a young lady (or man!), without announcing your rendezvous to the entire Club.

The Pan-Demonica has something for everyone. Make your deals, tell your lies, and drink yourself unconscious... all without worrying about who's coming around the next corner! So come on out! Dusk 'til dawn... All night long!
