Tonight, when I was supposed to be writing...
...I started screwing around with my graphics apps, and suddenly, out popped THIS:

So, compared to the picture you've been carrying around in your heads, am I reasonably close?
I am not a Character.
I am Real.

And I know where you Dream.

NO, but ..
No, I imagined a different face, but this one makes more sense. It gives a new deph to the character in my imagination also (he looks young).

You are right, the character SHOULD look a bit older...
...and less blue....
...and have eyebrows...
but other than that, this is pretty accurate for what I had in mind. I might keep the 'too blue' texture, because it really adds 'coldness' to
the character and gives him more of an inhuman look... like someone who froze to death in a cold lake and then came back to life. The
experimentation continues... I just wanted to know what other folks thought of this one.
I am not a Character.
I am Real.

And I know where you Dream.

actually
The face I imagined was starker, had less fullness too it, kind of like winter personified. But the age seemed perfect, being that December is a
godling and ages differently from others. It would be fairly cool to see a story about december, two hundred years old or so, trapped in the body of
a ten year old

Longer hair
I imagined that he'd have longer hair, be more fierce in the eyes.
Everything else looks like your description. But for some reason, even though you wrote the opposite I imagine him with darker skin, white hair and
the same color of blue eyes that you have in this picture. It's a good rendering though; it makes sense b/c of what happened to him, and the eyes
have that glimmer of power.

nope...
I saw a little more square, hard face, an with his body being strong and well formed I thought a stronger looking neck.
Thats a little more then the blue tinge I thought, and also the hair a bit longer...
Though I would really like to see one of Erik Hood...I just can't get that "mousy" discription you gave him. I keep seeing a slightly more evil
guy then the guy with magic hat in Frosty the Snowman.

My two cents
I always imagined him with a flatter nose and a wider and rounder face. Kinda more eskimo-looking. A basic hair cut; short bangs and cut to the end
of his jaw, not too different from what you have pictured. I like the colors, that's just like I imagined them. I'm surprised you got this out of
Poser. I've never been able to do much with it. Once I finish learning Lightwave, maybe I'll send in what I've pictured.

It was actually rendered in Bryce, although I COULD have gotten something very similar out of Poser. The rendering engine in Poser is just too
limited to do any serious work. It is a Poser figure, though, with extensive morphing and a purchased texture (a nordic male). I did some work on
the texture in PaintShopPro to make it December-ish, then reapplied it in Bryce.

LanceMan - Darkicon actually did a picture of Eric Hood before. It was for Halloween some time ago. I don't think it was supposed to be taken too
seriously of a description though, probably just out of fun.
DarkIcon - I actually pictured December with dark blue eyes. Like of the ocean. I just always see light blue eyes as the weaker variety. Plus,
darker blue will give off a stronger contrast to his skin. Other than that, it's a great pic. Good job.
