The Henry County Horror and Other Short, Brutish Tales

You were warned.

I’m not going to go back and actually look, but I’m pretty sure I said that my list of “upcoming projects” was tentative and subject to change.

Wellll… it changed.

Not to worry.   As changes go, this one is pretty good.

My current project is STILL the “Welcome to October Falls” anthology.   However, I felt that I needed to publish something sooner in celebration of my favorite holiday.  There was no way I could finish the October Falls anthology by Halloween, but I most certainly could grab some of my other short stories and make a mini-anthology over a long weekend and a few late nights.     So that’s what I did.

My newest Amazon publication is “The Henry County Horror and Other Short, Brutish Tales“.

In addition to the titular story, it collects DarkSpace, Parker’s Last Hunt, The Cart, The Passenger, Whatever Comes Along, and The Slasher.   If some of those titles don’t sound familiar, it’s because they were originally bonus stories that were only made available to people who donated to the site a few years ago.    The collection (with author’s notes)  is about 40,000 words… just the right size for a relaxing evening handing out Halloween candy.

And the best part is it’s available right now so you don’t have to wait!  Hell… if you’re quick enough you won’t even have to PAY!    From now (October 21st) until  October 25th, the book will be available for free on Amazon Kindle.   After that, the price will most likely be only 99 cents.

If you take advantage of my Halloween generosity, how about leaving me a review?

  1. I’m reading this anthology now, and just finished The Passenger. I don’t recall ever reading that one in the old days, so I really enjoyed it although I think the ending was a bit abrupt.
